Working with a totally reduced color palette, the artist used a combination of hand drawn lines and cut out shapes to create this wonderful series. Stephanie told us that getting away from colour has always been meaningful and a fun challenge. Her illustrations characterize and depict todays generation of what she calls “busy people”, their attention being completely drawn by their phones and other particularities.
The illustrations can also be found in Stephanie’s book called “Busy people” for the 100for10 art book collection. Each issue contains 100 pages of black and white visuals. The project was initiated by Melville Brand Design in Munich, Germany the mission being to present unique work to a broad audience.
